After moving to Las Cruces, NM my goal was to document all the unique and intricate spaces that I’ve been exposed to. I’m drawn to it’s landscape, and people, but also the roadside attractions and public art. I’m using this work to fuel the invigorated pulse and urgency to explore and document my new surroundings. This type of exploration is not new to me, having grown up in one of the largest cities in the US, Chicago. I passionately pursued the streets cataloging the already well documented urban architecture. It's been refreshing to explore these new places and monuments. The diversity of the Southwest is something that is so unfamiliar and unique.
This project will continue to grow as I acclimate to my new surroundings.
